Coach Jamal had a great high school career at Hightstown High. Finishing with an 1,000 point milestone and becoming the All-Time Leading Scorer for boys at 1,459 points. He also finished as the All-Time Leader in Steals for both individual season and career at Hightstown. After graduating, Jamal went to play at Guilford Tech CC in High Point, NC averaging 12.4ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.8apg as a freshman. It was after that when Jamal's career got put on hold due to COVID-19. With all of the time off, Jamal began to fall in love with coaching and he hasn't turned back yet. Since then, he's been able to work with over 200+ kids from all over the country. He's hosted or been a part of camps/clinics in New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Nebraska. Outside of training, Jamal currently coaches at The Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ serving as the Head JV Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach. Jamal uses his high level coaching methods for every kid that he works with at all ages/skill levels. With his passion and attention to detail in training methods, your child will no doubt become a better basketball player after working with him.
